From the 8th to the 10th of March 2010, the Global Sports Forum in Barcelone will be hosting professional athletes, businessmen, politicians and journalists to discuss and debate the challenges sport faces today.
This international forum is organised by Havas Sport Event for the 2nd year running. This year awards will be given to reward projects in 8 different categories.
The trophies are there to distinguish sports-related achievements that act as examples of the role of sport in each category. The selection criteria will be based on:
- Innovation
- Social impact
- Sustainability
- Distinction by a “challenge”
The ADD Academy, presented by Majestic Force was selected in 2009 by an assembly of experts was retained among the 24 nominees for 2010.
The ADD Academy is nominated in the category “Sports, Culture and Creativity”.
On February 15th the Global Sports Forum will announce the 8 winners. The awards ceremony will be held on the 9th of March during an official diner.
The winning projects will be promoted during the Forum, and after the event by the GSF and its partners. They will also be invited to participate in 2011th edition.
